1. Production/Manufacturing Engineer (Sheet Metal Fabrication)

Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate production procedures and processes in a high- mix/low-volume sheet metal fabrication plant environment
- Regulates and coordinates functions of Production Office and Shop Floor
- Develop and implement efficient production/Lean Manufacturing
methods to improve Quality, Productivity, Throughput/Ouput, Safety, Timeliness
and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/Deliverables
- Manage a 10,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art sheet metal fabrication shop including shear, punch presses, laser, press brakes (bending machines), roller, and other supporting equipment; with a work force of ± 50 operators
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of shop floor operators, supervisors
and leaders, to enable them to perform more effectively in their respective job
functions
- Develop, implement and sustain preventive maintenance programs for all sheet metal processing equipment, to maximize machine uptime and quality
- Manage punch and press brake (bending machine) tooling from acquisition, utilization, maintenance to retirement
- Work cross functionally (Purchasing, Materials, Planning, Management, Human Resources, Quality, Engineering, etc.) and across departments (Welding, Powder Coating, Assembly, Warehouse, etc.) to accomplish all Department and
Company/Business Goals
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned
- Key Performance Indicators:

1) Quality
2) Cost
3) Productivity
4) Capacity Utilization
5) Machine Downtime/Utilization
6) Timeliness
7) Safety

Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of production experience with 2+ years supervisory experience
- Prior experience with sheet metal fabrication
- High degree of mechanical aptitude
- Production/Process/Operations-oriented, systematic, energetic
- Proven leadership and managerial skills
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Toyota Production System a strong plus
- Willing to work long hours if needed
- Able to work in a cross functional team environment
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication in English (written and spoken) is a must
- Able to work in Lobam, Bintan, Kepulauan Riau
