Mercuria Energy Trading has opened its Indonesia representative office in Jakarta and is looking for the following experiences and skilled professionals for its Coal Business to be evaluated:
1. OFFICE MANAGER
Experienced generalists with excellent business acumen and at least 10 years of practical experience, technical knowledge, and interpersonal savvy, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. RECEPTIONIST
Must be able to communicate in English, both written and oral, use of computers and email systems essential, filling and archiving capabilities.
3. SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Complete understanding of GAAP principles, applicable degree in finance or accounting, having experience in multinational or mining related company preferable. Extensive knowledge of Indonesian taxation system. Experience with SAP. Min 8-10 years experience.
4. JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
Complete understanding of GAAP and Indonesian Taxation system, with degree in Accounting. Experience with SAP. Min 3-4 years experience.
5. TRAFFIC OFFICER (COAL SUPPLY CHAIN)
Complete knowledge of coal supply chain, government regulations and updates, preferably with background in coal laboratory/analytical services. Min 5 years experience.
6. LOGISTIC OFFICER – PORT CAPTAINS
Complete knowledge of bulk handling and coal logistics chain in Indonesia. Must have excellent existing relationship with barge operators. Min 5 years work experience in coal producer or trading company.
7. BACK OFFICE/OPERATIONS
Complete knowledge of operations involved in Indonesian and International coal supply chain. Must have degree in Economics or Finance. Min 5 years work experience either in coal producer or trading company in similar position.
8. GENERAL MANAGER MINING/SENIOR MINE PLANNER/SENIOR GEOLOGIST
Must have relevant education and experience as a Mine/Process Engineer, Geologist. At least 10 years experience in the similar position, Indonesian experience is essential.

IndoPacific Edelman has a current requirement for: Financial Controller (position code: FC)

Financial Controller will report to Finance Director with dotted line to the Managing Director, Regional CFO and Regional Finance Director. The incumbent will liaise with and support the Managing Director and Finance Director on all financial and business management matters, work with Practice Heads on practice specific financial matters and responsible for all finance and accounting functions. He or she will ensure that necessary internal controls are in place, provide financial training for all team members as well as instill quality work standards and ethics in all team members.

Responsibilities

Client Contracts
- Provide the necessary financial and company information to comply with Government/MNC tender requirements

Cash Flow Management
- Manage daily cash flow; prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure that office operates within its means and review bank reconciliations

Supplier Invoices and Payments
- Approval of Purchase Orders prior to dispatch
- Approval of all bank and cash payments
- Review monthly Factiva usage reports and investigate high level users

Client Billing
- Review of all Client Invoices to ensure compliance with signed Client Contracts
- Review of client collections and regular follow up of all accounts receivables
- Review of WIP accounts to ensure all amounts billed on a timely basis

Timesheet
- Preparation and review of monthly/ytd Under/Over-Service, Contribution, Utilisation and Job Profitability reports and discussion of same with Managing Director and Practice Heads
- Review of staff expense claims to ensure in compliance with company spending limits and reimbursement policies

Payroll
- Review monthly payroll, group tax, payroll tax and superannuation calculations and submissions
- Prepare annual remuneration report for employee's income tax submission or otherwise ensure proper compliance with all payroll tax reporting requirements

Reporting
- Completion of weekly forecast files in coordination with Practice Heads, submission to Regional office
- Review WIP reconciliations
- Review and adjustment of monthly draft trial balance, profit and loss account and balance sheet
- Review and complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations report
- Review and completion of month/year end package
- Review of GST returns and ensure lodged on a timely basis
- Liaison with auditors and audit related queries from Region/Corporate
- Ensure accurate completion and timely submission of audited statutory financial statements
- Preparation and coordinate upload of monthly Hyperion Essbase job profitability reports
- Complete Government statistics forms
- Prepare monthly staff productivity reports (PeopleSoft)

Requirements
- Possess bachelor degree in Economic majoring in Accounting, preferably certified as Accountant
- Good knowledge of Indonesian taxation
- Minimum 5 years experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably in service industry
- Work experience in multinational company will be an advantage
- Good ability in speaking and writing in English is a must
- Well organized and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong in analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and excellent knowledge of financial systems.
- Excellent in time management skills to handle multiple tasks and following through on projects and handling multiple tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep abreast of the corporate security office's constantly enhanced security standards and requirements.
- Review departmental compliance against corporate standards.
- Recommend and/or plan corrective actions to achieve compliance for any discovered deficiencies.
- Provide departmental governance by assisting/leading in efforts to identify, document and instruct the department in security related topics.
- Advise departmental Senior Management of trends, directions and concerns.
- Assist in the management of host based virus protection Deployment and Administration.
- Work with Corporate Security team on the deployment and use of Network and Host based IDS systems.
- Manage Internet use via control/monitoring.
- Coordinate/Perform intrusion tests for department controlled environments.
- Review systems designs to ensure essential security measures.
- Monitor and/or develop procedures to monitor systems’ usage to detect security violations distributing to department.
- Collaborate with Corporate Security team for issues related to information security and privacy to ensure security compliance with governmental regulatory requirements (i.e. Patriot Act, HIPAA, and Sarbanes-Oxley).

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.
- Proven experience in implementing security and compliance best practices in an information security environment; experience in the development and delivery of security education and awareness programs.
- Industry certifications such as: CISSP, SSCP, CISA, MCSE, CNSE a plus.
- Broad knowledge of network security practices, designs, methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Knowledge of general societal, political, and legal issues related to IS security.
- Knowledge of Computer/network forensics a plus.
- Working knowledge of the following technologies: Microsoft NT / 2000 / 2003, Solaris, firewall multi-layer design and implementation, router access list / packet filtering, WANs, LANs, Internet, Intranets and network protocols (i.e., telnet, ftp, TCP/IP and etc.). Enterprise Security management tools, security assessment software, Intrusion detection systems, Virtual Private Network (VPN), Encryption, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and information security practices.
- Ability to function in a fast paced global changing environment using persuasion, expertise and judgment to affect change.
- Strong attention to detail and follow through skills.
- Effective oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
